Photos: Jackson Workshop! (and info on the next one)

The GLC chapter's first workshop is behind us, and attendees were blessed with a very helpful and wonderful lesson on the How-Tos of Criquing, by our very own Joy Avery Melville. Much learning, fun and fellowship were had by all.

Missed it? Check out the pictures below for a glimpse. :) (AND, Joy will be presenting the same workshop, along with a second one on developing distinctive characters in West Branch in June)

And the NEXT workshop will be on Friday, May 18 at 11:30 at Bob Evans in Grand Rapids (5190 28th Street SE, Grand Rapids). Chris Jager, book buyer for Baker Book House, will be speaking on what buyers and readers are looking for in books. Attendees buy their own food, but otherwise, this workshop is free to GLC members. Email Joanne to RSVP, please - and click on the workshops tab at the site for more information on this workshop, and the others that will follow!

  1. That was a fun workshop! Thanks for offering, Joy! A workshop on critting was a perfect place to meet my CP for the first time (in person).
