Upcoming Events

Here are some of our plans for 2019...

“Fireside Chat”
ACFW-GLC's "Chat" meetings are informal gatherings (usually in a member's home), where we fellowship, eat, and talk about writing. Sometimes we plan a special topic or speaker for the day.

Linda Glaz, Hartline
Literary Agency
Date & Time: April 13, from Noon to 4:00 p.m.
SPEAKER:  Linda Glaz
TOPIC: “What Do Editors and Agents Want?”
Location: Leonard, MI 48367
Pizza & salad will be provided. If you would like to bring a side dish or dessert, that would be wonderful, but not required.
Bring: Questions, a readiness to fellowship, a willingness both to listen and to share what you know!

>>>   RSVP to: acfwgreatlakeschapter@gmail.com   <<<
(Note: Because this informal gathering will be held in the private home of an ACFW-GLC member, it's not open to the general public. However, non-chapter members who are in ACFW national may inquire about attending.)

“Lakeside Chat”
Date & Time: August 10 ~ 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Speaker: Anneliese Dalaba
Topic: Marketing strategies that WORK to sell your book in this fast-paced 21st century!
Location: Grand Haven, MI
Bring beachwear and walking shoes for the boardwalk and lighthouse sightseeing excursion!
(Note: Because this informal gathering will be held in the private home of an ACFW-GLC member, it's not open to the general public. However, non-chapter members who are in ACFW national may inquire about attending.)

GLC Luncheon - "The Write Stuff 2019"
